NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — Police in Nova Scotia are treating the death of a 33-year-old woman found in an apartment in New Glasgow as a homicide.

They say Nicole Campbell of Pictou County was found in the home on Temperance Street at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They say her remains were discovered after they received a 911 call and went to the apartment.

Police say an autopsy will be done in Halifax on Friday.

They were not releasing the cause of death.

The major crimes and forensic identification units of the New Glasgow Regional Police are investigating.
