Pedestrian dead after being struck by vehicle in Scarborough


A man, believed to be 30 to 40 years of age, is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough on Sunday.

The man was rushed to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Police said the incident occurred around 7 p.m. near Kennedy Road and Ellesmere Avenue.

The driver of the vehicle did remain on scene.

Police said the man was unresponsive.

It is unclear at this time if charges will be laid.
