Mike Napoli doubled off the left field wall, and Francisco Lindor came around to score in the top of the first inning to give the Cleveland Indians an early 1-0 lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 5 of the American League Championship Series on Wednesday.

The Trible got to Toronto starter Marco Estrada early after Lindor singled and then scored from first base on the Napoli hit.

On the mound for Cleveland is Ryan Merritt,  a rookie who has thrown a total of 11 innings in the big leagues.

After going down 3-0 in the first three games of the series, the Blue Jays scored a key victory on Tuesday to extend their season by at least one more day.
