Osheaga, Heavy Montréal, ÎleSoniq get new venue for 2017

A temporary new home has been found for the 2017 editions of the Osheaga, Heavy Montréal and ÎleSoniq festivals.

Because of construction work on the main festival site on Île Ste-Hélène, the events will move just across the St. Lawrence River to Île Notre-Dame. Both islands are part of Parc Jean-Drapeau.

A news release from Evenko on Wednesday said the promoter is “currently studying various logistic scenarios.”
