Alberta Premier Rachel Notley will deliver her state-of-the-province address on Wednesday.
The event is set to happen at 12:30 p.m. MT in the lobby of the Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary.
Alberta remains in the midst of an economic downturn with Statistics Canada reporting the province’s employment rate hit 8.5 per cent in September.
Calgary’s unemployment rate, meanwhile, climbed to 9.5 per cent in September, making it the highest in Canada for three straight months.
In Edmonton, unemployment slipped from 8 per cent in August to 7.7 per cent in September.
