Trial begins for Alberta woman accused of killing husband


    A first-degree murder trial begins in St. Paul, Alta. Tuesday for a woman accused of killing her husband.

    Deborah Doonanco is facing the possibility of being convicted for her husband Kevin Feland’s death.

    Firefighters found Feland’s body when they responded to a house fire in Glendon, Alta. in May 2014.

    The jury trial is expected to continue until Nov. 9.

    Glendon is about 212 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
