Longueuil police are trying to piece together the circumstances of what led to the death of a man in his 50s who was found lying injured Sunday morning on a quiet street in the borough of St-Lambert.
The investigation began after police received a 911 call about 8:30 a.m. Sunday reporting a man had been found lying on Bolton St.
Police found the man had suffered injuries to his upper body and ambulance technicians were called. He was later declared dead.
Police erected a crime scene perimeter around the spot where the man was found and their investigation in continuing.
Police refused on Monday to identify the man or to specify whether he lived in the neighbourhood.
