Crews are working hard to restore service on the Expo Line after a medical issue caused the closure at Braid Station during the Monday morning commute.
TransLink did not give any further information about the medical issue, but did say trains are being turned back at Lougheed and Sapperton Stations.
A shuttle bus and train are in place between Sapperton, Braid and Lougheed stations and additional security along with Transit Police are on-site to ensure passenger safety and crowd control.
Expo Line trains from Waterfront to King George and the Millennium Line are not affected by the medical issue and are running normally.
TransLink said their crews are working to restore full service, but passengers should expect a minimum delay of several hours.
