Cleanup in SteAnnedeBellevue and ÎleBizardSteGeneviève

Île-Bizard-Ste-Geneviève is organizing a massive cleanup on Saturday. Strong volunteers are needed to help collect used sandbags.

Volunteers are asked to sign up via email at ibsg.aide@ville.montreal.qc.ca. There are two shifts – 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The gathering spot is at 490 Montée de l’Église. 

People in the borough who need help with flood cleanup are asked to call 514-620-6118 or email ibsg.aide@ville.montreal.qc.ca and leave your name, address, telephone number and what you need help with.

Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue is calling on volunteers to gather at the municipal garage, 209 Ste-Anne St. on Saturday at 7 a.m. The team of volunteers and blue collar workers will pick up used sandbags.

Also on Saturday, garbage trucks will make the rounds to pick up debris from properties affected by the flooding.
