Montreal this morning The heat wave is over

Montrealers will be getting a break from the heat wave we’ve seen in the last couple days.

The sky will clear late in the morning, Environment Canada says, and we’ll have a sunny afternoon with a high of 18 and a UV index of 7 or high. Tonight, look for starry skies, with an overnight low of  7. 

The loonie: At 6 a.m., the Canadian dollar was worth 73.6 cents U.S.
