Notorious killer Luka Magnotta has found love in prison, TVA reports.
Magnotta, who is serving a life-sentence for the first-degree murder of international student Lin Jun in 2012, is planning to get married on June 26 to Anthony Jolin, another inmate.
The marriage will take place at Pont-Cartier prison where they are both detained. His mother, Anna Yourkin, will be Magnotta’s witness.
In 2015, Magnotta caught the media’s attention once more after he signed up for an inmate dating website called Canadian Inmates Connect. At the time, he said he was looking for a white man, between the age of 28 and 38 years old, and in good shape. He also said he was looking for someone loyal, well-educated, financially and emotionally stable, and interested in a long-term relationship.
Magnotta was also found guilty of producing and distributing obscene material, sending obscene material through mail, indignity to a human body and harassing Prime Minister Stephen Harper and other MPs.
