A two-day hunt for the driver in a hit and run that left a man in serious condition in a hospital ended Wednesday with the arrest of a 37-year-old suspect.
The incident occurred Monday morning in the Quebec City municipality of Neuville. The victim was seriously injured, although his condition has since improved.
Provincial police arrested the suspect Wednesday afternoon in a government office building in Quebec City. He faces charges of dangerous driving causing injury and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police say the suspect and the victim know each other, but were unable to confirm whether the incident was accidental or criminal in nature.
